One of the rattan hunting locations that attracts tourists today is Pu Luong Peak. Pu Luong trekking tour 2 days 1 night has the wild beauty of the Northwest mountains and forests along with the culture of the Muong and Thai ethnic groups.
Day 1: Conquer Pu Luong Peak
- 7h00: Breakfast at Homestay or at Pu Luong Expats Way Travel office.
- 7h30 – 8h00: Tour guide and group prepare for Pu Luong trekking gear, starting the journey to conquer Pu Luong peak. Going along the foot of the mountain, passing through Po Mu forest to giant tree stumps, this is a very natural forest, the distance is about 7km.
- 12h00: Our group reaches the top of Pu Luong at an altitude of 1,700m. Take a photo with the three-winged angel maple tree. Watch the clouds, see Quan Hoa town and Na Meo border gate. Visitors can look to Laos if they have binoculars or a clear blue sky.
- Porter and our group gathered firewood and built a fire to prepare lunch with chicken/duck, and grilled pork belly served with sticky rice or bamboo-tube rice.
- 13h30: After cleaning, remove trash to protect nature. The Pu Luong trekking tour continues our journey into the bamboo forest to a rock near a stream with water so we can take down our camping gear and sleep. Along the way, members and porters will harvest wild vegetables and sour leaves to cook bamboo duck soup for a campfire dinner.
- 19h00: After cleaning, the group gathers to organize team building activities (chill music, werewolves sharing their thoughts and talking with the guide)
- 21h30: Members rest early after a long day of trekking through the forest. Prepare your energy to complete the challenge early the next morning.
Day 2: Pu Luong – Hanoi
- 6h00: Pu Luong trekking tour gets up early to prepare breakfast with Porter, light a fire to make coffee with a bamboo tube, cook breakfast including fried eggs, and pate to enjoy with a slice of bread, or you can cook vermicelli soup.
- 7h00: The group dismantles the camp, collects belongings, and continues the trek through the bamboo forest and to the grass hill overlooking Bang village and the panorama of the Pu Luong tourist area.
- 11h30: The group returns to the homestay to shower and then have lunch, ending the journey to explore Pu Luong Peak.
- 13h00-13h30: Car picks up the group to depart for Hanoi.
- 18h30: End of Pu Luong Trekking tour. The car returns tourists to the hotel in the old town area and sees you again.
