Day 1: Ha Noi – Ha Giang – Heaven Gate – Lung Khuy Cave – Nam Dam Village
The 7 Days Loop Tour in Northern Vietnam begins early in the morning. The Limousine VIP Van will pick you up at your hotel at 6:45 am at your hotel in Ha Noi City. Arriving in Ha Giang at 13:30 p.m, drop you off at our office, the tour start at 14:00 Pm During your first day, you will see a big change in scenery when driving into the mountains before the town of Tam Son.
After that, you will go to the Lung Khuy Cave. The short walk leading to the cave will show you some beautiful views of the countryside. Finally, you will stop at Nam Dam village, where you will spend your first night. It is a charming and peaceful place surrounded by mountains. You will get the chance to discover the Dao ethical culture and try some delicious local food.
Day 2: Nam Dam Village – Yen Minh – H’mong King Palace – Lung Cu – Dong Van
On the second day of your 7 Days Loop Tour in Northern Vietnam, the road takes you through the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, one of Vietnam’s major geo-heritage sites. You will pass rice fields, limestone mountains, and spectacular viewpoints. You can also visit the Vietnamese–Chinese border and the northernmost viewpoint of Vietnam. Your last stop of the day is Dong Van town.
Day 3: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Bao Lac (140 km)
This day is a highlight of the 7 Days Loop Tour in Northern Vietnam. To start this third day you will stop at the famous Ma Pi Leng pass and will get the chance to trek to the breathtaking Sky Path to admire the scenery of the whole valley and Nho Que river. Bao Lac is a western district of Cao Bang Province.
This rural district is home to 50,000 residents who mainly live in remote villages without water and electricity supply. It is considered one of the farthest and poorest regions in Vietnam. With the advantage of possessing a whole host of natural resources, Bao Lac ‘has been becoming one of the most visited tourist attractions in Vietnam recently.
Day 4: Bao Lac – Cao Bang City – Phia Thap (140km)
Heading to Phia Thap you will encounter a small village best known for incense making as a traditional way to earn a living for ethnic minority people here. The village is inside limestone pinnacles which captures your eyes and attentions with breathtaking scenery.
You will definitely have the chance to experience or simply see the way incense is made with friendly and honest locals here. Another famous location you should pay a visit is Pac Rang blacksmith village where most of the households in this area are famous for their traditional blacksmith craft used for both rice paddies and selling outside.
Day 5: Phia Thap – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Cao Bang City (140km)
After breakfast, the tour continues toward Trung Khanh, near the China border. As part of the 7 Days Loop Tour in Northern Vietnam, you will enjoy a 2-hour canoe ride on the Quay Son River, where turquoise waters wind through rice terraces and karst landscapes.
After canoeing, we will transfer to Ban Gioc waterfall. This picturesque, cascading waterfall is 53 meters high and has an impressive span of 300 meters. The unique landscape includes limestone karst formations soaring from the verdant rice paddies of Tay, H’Mong, and Dzao ethnic minority groups. On the way back to Cao Bang, there is a must-see 2,144 – meter Nguom Ngao Cavern with one-of-a-kind stalactites. You will then spend a night in Cao Bang.
Day 6: Cao Bang – Ba Be Lake
After breakfast, we board our private boat for a cruise on the lake. Swim in the crystal clear waters (if the weather is pleasant) before having a picnic lunch on the boat. Then we will work off our feast with a three-hour trek to a Dzao village. Here we will see firsthand how life in these remote areas has remained unchanged. Arriving back at the jetty we transfer back to our hotel. Spend our other night in Ba Be.
Day 7: Ba Be Lake – Ha Noi
The final day of your 7 Days Loop Tour in Northern Vietnam concludes with a return trip to Ha Noi, covering about 230 kilometers. Depending on your interest, the bus may stop at local tea plantations along the way.
